Total Network Inventory 6.3: Improving DB management!

We are pleased to announce the latest update of Total Network Inventory, which enhances database management capabilities, making work with TNI storage even much easier. The program now features a dedicated window that allows users to quickly connect to databases, view all created storages, and manage them with ease.

What we added:

User access control. Define and control access rights to TNI storages directly from the new interface.

Storage file paths. Easily customize paths for the file part of storages. If a TNI storage is accessible not only via a network path but also locally, you can save multiple paths to select them when connecting.

Database cleanup. Quickly find and delete unused storages directly from the database.

We’ve also improved the connection menu by adding the ability to save multiple database addresses for users who need to connect to multiple storage systems.

Full list of updates:

  • AddedNew window for managing and connecting to storages created in databases.
  • ImprovedInterface for authentication to databases and the ability to save their network addresses for quick switching.
  • ImprovedSorting of the list of created Network maps alphabetically.
  • ImprovedNew summary field “Memory Module Type” for Table reports.
  • FixedIssue with saving privilege group settings in TNI Users mode for some system encodings.
  • FixedDuplication of Scheduler tasks when creating new storages.
  • FixedError when opening storage in Secondary mode while the first available tab is locked.

Keep an eye out for new updates – we will continue to expand storage management capabilities in future versions!

And don’t forget to renew your licenses to always get the latest TNI features.

See you soon!
