Total Network Monitor 1.1.3

The new version of Total Network Monitor 1.1.3 (build 1500) has been released.

Starting from this version the program is distributed as freeware. Besides, we have made some fixed and improvements. See details below:

  • NewHost field added to the GET-request (HTTP probe) to support virtual hosting.
  • ImprovedSetting of URL for HTTP probes. Now it is possible to specify the domain (site) name and port for connection.
  • ImprovedSending of e-mail alerts via SMTP. Now FQDN of the local computer is passed with HELO/EHLO commands, as per RFC standards.
  • FixedWindows and File probes. Now the name or IP for access to the remote computer are read from the device properties (depending on the “Static IP” flag value), and not stored in the probe properties.

    Very good free tool for monitoring almost everything that you need.
    If you can include in next verison more options for monitoring windows probes, like for ex. programs that are running on remote machine but it is not running as service.
    Overall very pleased with program. Will implement as monitoring tool in our 50+ servers enviroment.

    З.Ы. Ещё бы бесплатную версию(хоть бы и сильно урезанную) для инвентаризации выложили.. а то под каждую организацию скрипты переписывать задолбался(

    Sometime if i exit and chose save project before exit i get Not responding program… but maybe is from that smtp via gmail error…

    Тут мой друган скачал где-то The Dude и, большой профессор, запустил её из-под админской учётки на своём компе. Много пришлось повозиться, чтобы закопать последствия деятельности “профессора” (в сетке более 200 компов).
    Никогда не пользуйтесь халявой! Сначала разберитесь в принципах работы программы, используемых протоколах, службах и т.п.

    I love this app, it still has bugs, but it is awesome. Some times the sound alerts don’t work. Overall this app is worth having, thanks for offering an app like this for free. Keep up the great work.

    I’ve read your post on 05 May 2010 – 05:23 AM about “SMTP server wrong reply”, is the buffer size still 255 or was it expanded?
